"HOW WE DO IT: We make our bags with the assistance of two seamstresses who sew our straps, pockets and interior assemblies. At peak times Janine’s sister also helps with sewing. All of the critical detail sewing is done by Janine and Don including installation of zippers and final assembly. The cutting of linings, interfacings, straps, etc., is done by Don with assistance from David, our son. Janine does all of the cutting of the outer fabrics that require special motif placement, (You will not get a chopped up looking design on a Janine King bag!). Janine and Don do the remainder of the cutting of the exterior pieces together. Photography and listings are done by Janine and David. David taught Mom how to use Photoshop and is greatly responsible for the professional look of our pictures. Shipping is a collaborative effort with Don and David doing the packaging and Janine printing invoices and labels. That’s it in a nutshell. Thanks for your interest!"
